L/A Excavation and Construction was founded by Tom Smith in 2004 after the loss of his diary barn to a fire. What began with two employees and a string of small excavation jobs and concrete work has grown to an efficient crew averaging 14 men who regularly and safely construct buildings larger than 10,000 square feet. In this time, Tom has learned from experts in the field and become an expert on steel building erection himself.
